The Project Team was engaged by FTI Consulting Canada to lead the marketing and disposition of the former Hudson’s Bay flagship building in Downtown Vancouver through a structured, court-supervised sale process. Located at Granville and West Georgia Streets, the 617,628 sq. ft. property is integrated with CF Pacific Centre and the SkyTrain network and represented a rare opportunity to acquire a landmark retail asset with significant value-add, repositioning, and redevelopment potential.

The team executed an intensive national and international marketing campaign designed to maximize exposure to qualified developers, private investors, and institutional capital. The six-week process generated significant buyer interest and three rounds of competitive bidding, resulting in a 60% increase between first- and third-round bids.

The competitive process culminated in the successful sale of the property to Vancouver-based developer Onni Group. The assignment demonstrates the Project Team’s ability to market complex urban redevelopment opportunities, manage highly governed sale processes, and deliver strong transaction outcomes within institutional and court-supervised environments
